Wooden cabins
We at PAOLINI Legnami are very proud of the quantity and quality of the wooden cabins we stock. These were originally created to address the need to have in the garden (or elsewhere) an area of shelter which is both beautiful and functional. The naturalness of the materials and the harmony of the forms of these cabins make them beautiful and functional and adaptable to any type of use: as an outhouse, a studio, a work shed, a games room for the kids but also as a shelter for animals or cars or a storage shed etc.
The stability and durability of our wooden cabins is guaranteed by the materials and techniques used in their construction and can easily compete with the solidity usually associated with a brick house. Their wooden frames (which for car ports are in galvanized metal) are covered with hinged planks and subsequently blocked with a special screw system that prevents movement and splitting of the wood. The roof, which can also be asymmetrical, is supported by laminated timber load-bearing beams and trusses upon which the planks of wood are laid and then covered with a layer of bituminized cloth and finally topped by terracotta or Canadians tiles. In particular for wooden cabins for residential use, the roof and walls can be insulated, guaranteeing total protection from heat and cold.
